UKIAH, CA., 4/15/25 – This week’s Featured Pets are the fruit puppies, 20 weeks old, available for adoption at the Ukiah Animal Shelter.

Here’s their profile from the Ukiah Animal Shelter:

The shelter is brimming with adorable puppies, and this week we’re featuring our Fruit Puppies! These cutie pies are mixed-breed, male dogs, 20 weeks old and about 28+- pounds. Like all puppies, these adorable guys are happy, energetic and enjoy running and playing with toys of all varieties! We encourage new dog guardians to enroll in canine training classes, and puppies especially will benefit from the socialization of the class environment—meeting new people and other pups. And of course, at dog classes, it’s really YOU who’s being trained! From left to right are Guava, Kiwi and Avocado.

For more about the Fruit Puppies and all our adoptable guests, head to mendoanimalshelter.com To set up a meet & greet with one of our great dogs, call 707-467-6453, or drop by the shelter at 298 Plant Road in Ukiah. You can begin the adoption process on our website by filling out the Adoption Application. Check out our Facebook page at facebook.com/profile.php?id=100093510460862 and please share our posts! The shelter dog kennels are now open to the public on Saturdays, from 10 to 2:30, closed from 1 to 1:30 for lunch. Making a difference for homeless pets in Mendocino County, one day at a time!
