UKIAH, CA., 3/25/25 – This week’s Featured Pet is Pony, a one-year-old dog available for adoption at the Ukiah Animal Shelter.
Pony came into the shelter quite underweight, but we’re working on getting him to a healthy size. Pony is an active, happy guy, full of energy and love! He’s toy-motivated and eager to please. During his time in the Meet & Greet Room, Pony was mellow and seemed to enjoy meeting another canine guest. This very sweet dog loves to play and enjoys long walks. He’s a good listener too, and loves to be around people. Pony needs a home where he will get lots of attention and basic training. We think Pony will make a great addition to the right family. If you believe that you could give Pony the home he deserves, he would love to meet you! Pony is a Malinois or Mal mix, 1 year old and 65 handsome pounds. Malinois are very intelligent, have high drive, learn easily, have a strong work ethic, and need consistent training. Malinois lovers say: A tired Mal is a happy Mal!
