FORT BRAGG, CA., 3/28/25 – This week’s Coast Featured Pet is Franny, an eleven-year-old domestic shorthair cat available for adoption at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society.

Here’s her profile from the MCHS:

Franny is a sweet, affectionate 11-year-old. This gentle cat came to us because her owner was no longer able to care for her, and she’s proved to be an affectionate purr machine who will follow visitors around for attention. (It’s hard to resist those beautiful blue eyes.) Franny will need to be on a special diet to reduce and control her weight, something several of us can sympathize with. Once she slims down and settles in, we suspect she’ll be more of a sun snoozer than a toy chaser. If you have a calm household with a few cozy nooks, Franny is taking applications!

Frannie’s $50 adoption fee includes her spay, microchip, core vaccines, and current flea control. Come to the shelter to meet your purrfect new friend today!

Shelter public hours are 12-5pm Wednesday through Sunday. Please phone 707-964-7726 with questions or to start an adoption. MCHS, 19691 Summers Lane, Fort Bragg. mendocinohumane.org.
