UKIAH, CA., 2/13/25 — Law enforcement in Mendocino County on Wednesday arrested a Ukiah man after a prolonged standoff at his residence, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 1:30 p.m., sheriff’s deputies and officers from the Ukiah Police Department attempted to serve a warrant at a residence in the 700 block of Village Circle in Ukiah.
Brandon Langenderfer, 32, had a felony warrant for his arrest related to allegations of assault with a deadly weapon and making criminal threats.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Langenderfer refused to exit his residence “for several hours,” and due to his allegedly violent history, law enforcement stepped up its response by calling in a SWAT team and evacuating the area of other residents.
Langenderfer was eventually found hiding somewhere inside the home, the Sheriff’s Office said, and he was allegedly in possession of a loaded firearm. As a felon, he is barred from doing so.
Langenderfer was arrested for his warrant and on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, as well as allegedly evading arrest.
The suspect was being held on $100,000 bail, but as of Thursday morning, he no longer appeared to be in custody.

Brandon, you effed up again. You have got to straighten yourself out. A guy who is only 32 years old can turn it all around and lead a decent and happy life. Good luck.
