FORT BRAGG, CA., 2/14/25 — This week’s Coast Featured Pet is Petey, a year-old domestic shorthair cat available for adoption at the Mendocino Coast Humane Society.

Petey came to us from our friends at the Coast Cat Project, a local organization that looks after community cats. Our cat staff say he’s a sweet, snuggly guy who’s playful and active, but still enjoys a good snooze in the sun. He gets along well with other cats in the cottage and with his mellow personality, would probably fit in anywhere! And just look at his loving face! Petey’s $50 adoption fee covers his neuter, core vaccines, microchip, and flea control.
