Seal of the California State Assembly (California State Assembly via Bay City News)

Dear Editor:

The California Democratic Party holds ADEMs (Assembly District Election Meetings) every two years to elect 14 delegates to represent each district across the state at the CADEM conventions. This is an internal party election so registered Democrats do not automatically get a ballot!

Democrats can register to vote in the ADEMs now at adem.cadem.org until January 31 at noon.

If you live in Mendocino, Humboldt, Trinity, Del Norte, or Northern Sonoma County you are part of Assembly District 2 (AD2), and 14 community members will be elected to represent you.

Our Progressive Labor Slate represents our vast, rural district with Labor leaders and activists from across the district, not just the population centers. Many of our Progressive Slate of AD2 delegate candidates are incumbents who have been pushing the Democratic Party to do better on issues of economic and social justice, single-payer healthcare, and environmental protection.

Find out more about (limited) in-person options in the How to Vote section of our website and on our Facebook page Vote the AD2 Progressive Labor Slate. The Progressive Party we have been waiting for needs you to support the AD2 Progressive Labor Slate!
