MENDOCINO CO., 11/29/24— The holidays are in full swing, and nothing is better than shopping locally during the season of giving. Here’s our round-up of holiday markets and pop-ups happening throughout the county.

Boonville
Dec. 7, Holiday Bazaar – The Anderson Valley Unity Club hosts its annual holiday bazaar. Vendors will sell handmade soaps, candles, jewelry, baked goods and more. The Anderson Valley Skatepark Alliance will be selling shirts and buttons to raise funds for the park. Anderson Valley Elementary School will sell food, and the Agriculture Institute will sell wreaths. Santa Claus will be on hand for photos and crafts, and activities for children will be available. Caspar
Nov. 30, Makers & Bakers Holiday Fair – The Caspar Community Center hosts the fourth annual Makers & Bakers Holiday Fair with artisans and food purveyors from throughout the area. Attendees can purchase wood carvings and functional woodwork objects, jewelry, Guatemalan imports, ceramics, wreaths, baked goods, and herbal potions. Lunch will also be served. Covelo

Dec. 7, Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair – The Greenwood Community Church is sponsoring its 24th annual Holiday Arts and Crafts Fair. Take home jewelry, pottery, wreaths, food products, bath & body items, and other handcrafted delights for all ages. Snacks and lunch will be available for purchase. Funds raised will help maintain the historic Greenwood Community Church. Dec. 6, Dog Days of December – Art Explorers hosts a dog-themed holiday exhibit and silent auction to benefit the Mendocino Coast Humane Society. The Humane Society will have adoptable animals at the event. Proceeds will also benefit Arts Explorers, which provides visual arts experiences and opportunities for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Dec. 6-14, Pacific Textile Arts Holiday Market – Mendocino County’s only gallery dedicated solely to the textile arts hosts a holiday market featuring locally and internationally produced clothing, fabric, art supplies and more. Dec. 7, Winter Wonderland – Visit Fort Bragg hosts Winter Wonderland, a day of jolly good fun. Dec. 14, Holiday Pop-Up at Beauty Bar – Beauty Bar, a salon and day spa, hosts local crafters and makers for an afternoon of holiday shopping. Gualala
Nov. 29-30, Festival of Trees – Local artisans bring their special arts and crafts to the Gualala Arts Center. In addition to local makers and craftspeople, the center will be selling faux Christmas trees at its “Forever Tree” lot. The trees are designed by local artisans and the proceeds benefit the center. There will also be homemade cookies, pies and treats at the Mrs. Claus Bakeshop and Gualala Arts-branded gifts including T-shirts, hoodies, glassware, and more. Nov. 29-Dec 1, Holiday Craft Fair – Enjoy local vendors and artisans selling wares for holiday gifting. There will also be fully decorated Christmas trees and food for purchase. Dec. 21, Mendocino Makers Holiday Market – The annual holiday market features makers, bakers, small businesses and artists offering their wares. This is a GREAT listing, thank you! There is another great event in Willits though it wouldn’t be considered a craft fair, it’s the Roots of Motive Power Christmas event, with the steam train and Santa! It’s a great family outing on Dec. 7th., just west of the County Library and Museum on E. Commercial Street.
