UKIAH, CA., 12/16/24 – This week’s Featured Pet is Joy, a ten-month-old Shepherd-type dog available for adoption at the Ukiah Animal Shelter.

Beautiful Joy enjoyed spending time in our Meet & Greet room during her evaluation. As new people walked in and out, she was curious and quite engaging. Joy is like most dogs her age—energetic and fun-loving. This stunning Shepherd-type dog is an active girl who will benefit from basic obedience training and fun, interactive canine sports, like flyball and agility. Joy already knows sit, and undoubtedly will learn more quickly once in a home environment. Joy loves her toys, and we’re hoping Santa will bring her a few of her very own…in her new forever home! Joy is 10 months old and 41 joyful pounds.
