MENDOCINO CO., 10/7/24 – It’s another great week for live music in Mendocino County!

This week’s pick is Phantom Hound in Fort Bragg on Saturday. The Oakland-based trio performs a fusion of psychedelic and stoner rock, as if the Grateful Dead turned metal. It invites less ecstatic dance and more slow-mo headbanging (but hey, move as the music moves you). The band will be supported by Surfsquatch, which performs it own unique mix of surf music meets psychedelic metal. The show is 21 and over, takes place at 9 p.m., costs $5 and takes place at the Golden West Saloon at 128 E. Redwood Ave., Fort Bragg.

Get out and see a show!
