MENDOCINO CO., CA., 9/23/24 — With a theme of “I am democracy,” the Freedomocracy Coalition and the Redwood Coast Democrats are staging an event at a private home at 43700 Mountain View Road in Manchester on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 12-3 p.m.
Speakers are US Representative Jared Huffman, gubernatorial candidate and former state controller Betty Yee (running for the governor’s election in 2026), and State Assembly District 2 candidate Chris Rogers.
The event, meant to celebrate democracy and support Kamala Harris, will include DJ Jose Ruiz, music, food vendors, and an art exhibit centering on democracy.
