MENDOCINO Co., 8/2/24 – The Mendocino County Department of Transportation will close a portion of Marina Drive, east of Calpella, for almost a month to make critical repairs. 

The repairs, according to the department, will start August 5 and end August 30. The work will focus on repairing a major slip-out that occurred during the 2023 atmospheric rivers.  

The hard road closure of Marina Drive will be from Eastside Calpella Road to Rubicon Court.  

Residents and visitors to Black Oak and Lake Ridge can access these subdivisions via Marina Drive at Highway 20.  

Visitors to Lake Mendocino can access the recreational area via Marina Drive at Highway 20, including the Pomo Day Use Area and Kyen Campground.
