UKIAH, Ca. 7/25/24 — Crafty fashionistas are invited to submit their stylish wearable creations for a juried exhibition at the Deep Valley Arts Collective’s MEDIUM Art Gallery in Ukiah.
The exhibit, which will adorn the walls of the nonprofit art gallery for the month of September, is titled “Altered Apparel.” The show will feature “a variety of wearable art; clothing and accessories, from handmade and upcycled, to painted and adorned. Examples include, but are not limited to: painted or dyed shoes, hats, and tees, upcycled garments, handmade apparel, and items that have been embellished or appliqued,” the gallery said in a call for artists. Artists can submit up to three artworks.
The gallery is also inviting artists to set up tables offering additional creations for sale on opening night on September 6. No commission will be charged for sales.
There is no entry fee to submit works for consideration. All works must be submitted online. The call for artists closes August 25. Learn more here.
