MENDOCINO Co., 7/27/24 – Travelers journeying along Mountain View Road (CR 510) can expect traffic delays of up to five hours due to construction starting August 5.
Mountain View Road travels from Boonville to Stornetta.
According to the county’s Department of Transportation, “construction will begin each morning at 7:00 am and stop between 12:00 pm to 12:30 pm to allow traffic through. Construction will cease at 5:30 pm each day, however work may be required on the weekend and after 6:00 pm.”
The delays are due to construction equipment, which the county says have limited mobility and are very large in size. Different sections of the road will be impacted daily.
The county will update its website daily with what sections will be closed and other construction-related updates.
