Woman allegedly breaks into ex’s house, attacks with knife

MENDOCINO Co., 2/27/20 — Nichole Birdsall, 47 of Ukiah, allegedly broke into her ex-girlfriend’s home on Sunday night, allegedly attacking both her ex, and her ex’s companion with a knife while they were sleeping in their bed. Birdsall has been charged with attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, battery causing serious injury, burglary, and violation of a domestic violence protective order.

According to the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), Birdsall and another 47 year old woman had previously dated, and the 47 year old victim had obtained a restraining order against Birdsall.
