MENDOCINO Co., 9/19/19 — This weekend, Mendonesians will be taking action in concert with statewide and international environmental movements: the Climate Strike, on Friday September 20, and California Coastal Clean-Up day, on Saturday, September 21.
Students and residents in a number of Mendocino County places have planned actions on Friday drawing attention to the impacts of climate change, in coordination with international events happening all this week. On Saturday, there are a variety of river and coastal clean-up events planned in coordination with events statewide.
