UKIAH, CA., 10/27/26 —Bones is a 2-year-old German Shepherd weighing 53 pounds, with a heart as big as his paws! Bones spent some time living on the streets. He was very skittish and would not let anyone get near him. The shelter eventually set a humane trap and brought him to safety. Since arriving at the shelter, Bones has shown everyone what a sweet, loving boy he truly is! Though he may need a little time to warm up to new people, once you earn his trust, you’ll have a loyal companion for life. Bones absolutely loves attention and is happiest when he spends time near the people he feels safe with. Bones is learning to walk on a leash, and he’s making progress. He already knows SIT and is very food-motivated, which makes training a fun way to build his confidence and strengthen your bond. Bones has been through a lot, and now he’s ready for the best chapter of his life: finding his forever home, where he will be safe, and finally know what it means to belong. Give this sweet boy the chance to leave his past behind and become your most loyal best friend.
