UPDATE 6:45 p.m. — Highway 20 is now reopened. No official word on the nature of accident — but readers who passed through the area have indicated it may have involves a motorcycle and car, and was quite serious.
UPDATE 5:45 p.m. — The CHP is now saying that they will be doing one way traffic control, so expect big delays and back ups.
MENDOCINO CO., 1/31/19 — Highway 20 is currently closed at Marina Drive, east of Highway 101, due to a traffic accident, according to the California Highway Patrol. No further information is currently available from the CHP, but due to the closure it appears as if this was a significant accident. This article will be updated when more information is available.
