Free children’s health fair, “Wild about Health,” happening in Ukiah on Oct. 7

UKIAH, CA., 10/1/18 — Does your child need a medical check-up? The tenth annual “Wild About Health” free children’s health fair is happening in Ukiah on October 7, where you and your family can get free health screenings, participate in educational health activities, and connect with health-focused resources throughout the region.

The health fair will take place on Sunday, October 7 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Alex Rorabaugh Recreation Center located on the Grace Hudson school campus in Ukiah at 1640 S. State Street. Free medical screenings will be available, including vision, dental, and diabetes. Kids should bring their bikes, since there will also be free bike safety repairs and bike helmets available. Each child will receive a “passport,” which they can get stamped as they make their way through a variety of different health-related activities at different booths — and then be eligible to win a prize basket.
