MENDOCINO CO., 6/30/18 — A grass fire has broken out about a half mile south of the location where the Kate Wolf Festival is held, Black Oak Ranch. Apparently CalFire is laying hose across Hwy. 101, so expect additional traffic and delays in that area, however, the fire has been encircled, and resources are now being recalled from the fire. Scanner chatter indicates that a few hours of mop up might remain but that the fire is under control.

Large parts of Northern California are currently under a fire risk advisory, so stay vigilant out there, and be careful.
