MENDOCINO CO., 6/8/18 — A 3.9 earthquake hit Redwood Valley at about 10:24 a.m. It caused some shaking as far as Willits, but there are no reports of damage. The quake had a depth of 3.3 kilometers, or about 2 miles.

The earthquake was initially listed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) as a 3.6, and an earlier version of this article listed it as that.

Felt it in Ukiah, my wobbly desk shook back and forth. Blew it off, thinking it must be the building!
