To the Editor:
I have friends asking for Board of Supervisor endorsements for the 3rd district because ballots have been sent out in the mail. My Mom Cyndee Logan is running for the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors 3rd District position. She is a smart and creative and the best canidate choice in my opinion. In college she was head hunted by NASA and choose to work at Ames Research Center Emergency Control. She was a reviewer for statewide emergency medical systems plan after securing funds so Willits didn’t lose its one ambulance in the early 2000s. She worked at a nationwide commercial real estate company, was a planning commissioner, was the Economic Development Comission president, Mendocino County Counsel of Governments technical advisory committe member. She was given the League of Cities award of excellence for enhancing public trust, ethics and community involvement. She helped create Wowser, a 20,000 square foot maker space after being community coordinator for 10 years. She facilitated the community commercial kitchen at the grange. We need to be represented by a board of supervisor who is at home with government at local, state, and federal levels who also has a strong private business background. As far as I can tell, my mom is the only candidate with the broad spectrum qualifications we need to go forward.
