Update 11/22/17: as of 7:45am on Wednesday, the road is now open.
Original: MENDOCINO CO., 11/20/17 — State Route 128 is closed due to flooding from the intersection of Highway 1 until mile marker 11. The California Highway Patrol is not estimating a time that the road will re-open as of 2:30pm on Monday.
You can check out some video of the road beginning to flood from Mendocinosportsplus, taken earlier this morning. According to his records, the same stretch of road flooded for the first time last year exactly one year ago yesterday.
