WILLITS, CA, 7/15/17 — We were live on air yesterday, broadcasting on KLLG at the Little Lake Grange in Willits for our weekly news radio show. This week, we had a special guest in the studio, Cheryl Abney, a resident of the Wagon Wheel Mobile Home park in Willits. Abney joins us in the studio to talk about proposed rent increases at the park, threatening letters that tenants have received, and what happened at recent meetings held by tenants and local officials that took place on July 12.
We also talk about fire season around the county, new proposed water legislation and how it impacts Mendocino, cannabis regulations and mental health facilities at the upcoming Board of Supervisors meeting, California’s new wolf pack, and more. You can listen to our show below or on our Soundcloud page, and check out our previous shows here.
We’re planning to bring more guests onto the show, whether in the studio or over the phone, and get into more in-depth discussions on local news topics. If there’s something you’d like us to talk about, or someone you’d like to hear from, let us know in the comments or get in touch at [email protected]
Thanks for listening!
