MENDOCINO CO., 7/22/17 — A one or two acre wildfire is burning near the intersection of Hwy. 20 and Old Lake County Road, in Lake County right near the Lake-Mendocino County line. CalFire has engaged the fire, and reports that it has a slow rate of spread. It’s being called the Lake Fire.

A reader near the fire reports that there is not much smoke, and that it does not seem to be growing. But we’ll be checking in an updating.
