WILLITS, 6/27/17 — The new third district supervisor, Georgeanne Croskey, is now holding weekly office hours in an effort to reach out to her constituents. She will be available each week at the Loose Caboose restaurant in Willits on Wednesdays from 9am to 10:30am, and at Pour Girls Coffee in Laytonville, Thursdays, from 3pm to 4:30pm. She is also hoping to set up a time at the Covelo library, though that’s still in the works.
Croskey has already held one meeting, last week at the Loose Caboose which she described positively, saying, “It was great, it was a nice small group that brought me their concerns regarding roads and the homeless situation and we had a really good conversation.” Adding, “I think think they’re going to be very useful.”
She plans to hold these hours through the summer and then reevaluate depending on public interest, and the continued cooperation of local businesses. She also mentioned the possibility of renting an office somewhere in the Third District, if constituent interest is sufficient.
Asked about the purpose of the office hours she expressed her desire to learn more from constituents, saying “What I’m hoping is that people can…bring me specific issues that I can tackle.” She also encouraged people with issues specific to themselves to keep calling and sending her emails.
Croskey can be reached at her cellphone: (707) 472-8366
Or at her official email: [email protected]
Her hours are:
9am-10:30am at the Loose Caboose, 10 Wood St. Willits, CA
3pm-4:30pm at Pour Girls Coffee 44950 Hwy. 101, Laytonville, CA
