MENDOCINO CO. 1/12/2017 — The Mendocino County Office of Emergency Services writes, “It appears we have weathered the storm.” The Russian River at Hopland flooded at 22.3 feet, instead of the 26.1 feet that was predicted. The voluntary evacuation order in the Oak Manor neighborhood of Ukiah has been lifted, and the two evacuation centers have been closed. The Mendocino County Dept. of Transportation reports that no county roads are closed at this time, but some state roads remain closed.
