Mudslides and flood warnings continue in Mendocino County today, with road closures in effect throughout the county. Some roads that had previously been closed are now open, including Hwy 222 in Talmage, and Valley Road in Willits.
It’s a big day for closures on the 128. There is a closure due to a mudslide at Elkhorn Road near Yorkville. The 128 is also fully closed from the junction with Hwy 1 to Flynn Creek Road, 11 miles east. As of 6:02am this morning, there was a mudslide into the northbound lane of 128 at Middlestat Lane near Cloverdale.
Hwy 175 is closed from Route 101 to Eastside Road. There is a full closure on Hwy 1 from Lighthouse Road to the Garcia River.
