WILLITS, 11/29/16 — The following is a November 29 press release from the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office. The Mendocino Voice has not independently confirmed any of the information. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
On Nov. 26, at about 3:09pm, MCSO deputies performed a vehicle check on the 24600 block of Sherwood Rd in Willits. 30 year old Willits man Cody Sanderson was found to have a felony warrant and was booked on $30,000 bail. In the booking logs, Sanderson is listed as “Cody Ray Sanderson,” although he is named as Cory in this press release, that is an error.

Synopsis:
On 11-26-2016 at about 3:09 PM, Mendocino County Sheriff’s Deputies were patrolling the 24600 block of Sherwood Rd in Willits, California.
While patrolling the area, Deputies contacted Cory Sanderson while conducting a vehicle check. Sanderson was determined to have a Mendocino County felony arrest warrant.
Deputies validated the arrest warrant, which was for violation of probation and arrested Sanderson pursuant to the warrant.
Sanderson was transported and booked into the Mendocino County Jail where he was to be held in Lieu of $30,000 bail.
