MENDOCINO CO., 11/28/16 –– There are lot of different ways to show your support for the Water Protectors in Standing Rock, including these three events this week happening in Ukiah, Laytonville, and Fort Bragg. This November, in Round Valley, these 7th graders at Round Valley Middle School decided to write a letter to President Barack Obama in support of Standing Rock Water Protectors, asking that the President intervene in contraversy over the Dakota Access Pipeline’s route, in order to protect water for future generations.

Other students in Round Valley, part of this year’s Wailaki 2 class and some of the first Wailaki speakers in several generations, created this prayer for Standing Rock in Wailaki:
