Cal Fire is now reporting that it was a false alarm, or something very small, and the air resources are being recalled.
MENDOCINO CO., 9/30/16 – There are reports of smoke on Shimmins Ridge, Cal Fire has sent tankers and appears to have sent a helicopter.
