Today marks six year’s since Mendocino County’s deadliest fire in recorded history.
Deputies were called to the vicinity of Potter Valley around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
PG&E’s draft decommissioning plan in November will include removal of all dams and river features unless an entity steps forward with a proposal to take over facilities.
“I hope that we can get our water back — and get our culture back”: habitat loss, water quality reduction, and threatened communities along the 196-mile Northern California river.
The commission said that until approval of an amendment application, PG&E must maintain compliance with the existing Potter Valley Project license.
