Second victim found dead after Highway 162 crash into Eel River

Yvonne Niesen of Covelo was found downriver from where her vehicle crashed into the Eel River on Tuesday. Her husband, who was also in the vehicle, was found Friday.

Emergency crews suspended search efforts Tuesday morning after high water and poor visibility made the river too hazardous, the California Highway Patrol said.
