The driver was arraigned on two felonies Wednesday, but that was before investigators found his mother’s dead body under a large pile of clothes in the vehicle.
MCSO has sent out an alert requesting situational awareness.
He was last seen in Brooktrails, and the search is ongoing.
“These small communities came out to support their neighbors,” Sheriff Matt Kendall said.
The name of the decedent has not yet been released, but investigators say he was driving a 2002 GMC Yukon.
