But what women wore to take a dip has changed dramatically.

The headlands was saved from housing development in 1974, and the town is much as it was 100 years ago.

Speeches, temperance drinks and a band called “the Horribles” entertained the crowd.

Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell rented a house on the Comptche Ukiah Road during filming.
