Tulip is available for adoption at Ukiah Animal Shelter. (Ukiah Animal Shelter via Bay City News)

UKIAH, CA., 8/25/26 — At 8 months old, Tulip, an adorable mixed breed pup (we’re guessing a Doberman mix, though her parents are a mystery), is winning hearts with her gentle nature and loving personality. She was found as a stray alongside her two siblings, but despite her rough start, she’s proven to be incredibly sweet and eager to connect with people. Like any young puppy, she’ll need a home committed to guiding her through basic training, socialization and all the important life lessons that help her grow into a well-mannered companion. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, she’s sure to blossom into an amazing dog. Tulip is expected to be a large dog when fully grown, so she’ll do best with a family ready for a bigger, active companion. We think she could do well with another dog in the home, given proper introductions, and may enjoy having a canine buddy to play and learn with. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving pup to grow up with your family, this sweet girl might just be the perfect match.
