MENDOCINO CO., 6/25/26 — The Mendocino County elections office released more unofficial results from the June 2 statewide primary election on Thursday, showing Buffey Wright Bourassa still leading for county District 3 Supervisor.

District 5 incumbent Supervisor Ted Williams is still leading that race, and Measure A is just under the threshold to pass.

Eric Hart, member of the board of directors of the Mendocino County Fire Safe Council, was behind by nearly 50 votes against Wright Bourassa in District 3, which covers the Covelo, Willits and Laytonville areas. Wright Bourassa, who works as a restorative justice program manager with the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office, surpassed Hart in a previous election update. In Thursday’s release, Wright Bourassa had 1,494 votes to Hart’s 1,445.

Williams remained in the lead with 3,047 votes. Candidate Kevin Evans has the second most votes with 1,371 and Todd Lyly has 1,064 votes. District 5 covers Ukiah to Mendocino to Gualala and east to Hopland.

Measure A would levy a parcel tax on properties in the Mendocino-Lake Community College District to finance $98 million in bonds to fund repairs and program updates. The measure has more than 54% yes votes, just shy of the 55% required to pass.

The official election results will be finalized by the county within 30 days after Election Day and sent to the Secretary of State for certification.
