MENDOCINO CO., CA., 5/22/26 — A man from Santa Rosa was sentenced to over six years in state prison Wednesday for causing a crash that killed a woman near Laytonville in 2025 while he was impaired by cannabis.
Justino Faenzi-Glass, 44, was convicted in October of felony driving while impaired by cannabis and was sentenced this week to 76 months in prison for causing the death of Sally Teegarden in a July 2025 head-on collision north of Laytonville, according to the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Faenzi-Glass was driving a Porsche north on U.S. Highway 101 with two children in the vehicle when he let the car cross into oncoming traffic, hitting Teegarden’s Honda. The children were unharmed and released to a relative at the scene.
