UPDATE 4/7/26 —Mikeala Smith, the woman who was reported missing via a California Highway Patrol Feather Alert on Monday, has been located, California Highway Patrol said Tuesday.

ARCATA, CA., 4/6/26 — The California Highway Patrol on Monday issued a Feather Alert for multiple Northern California counties for a missing woman last seen in Arcata in March. 

Mikeala Smith, 28, was last seen at Creamery Row Alley and O Street in Arcata, Humboldt County, on March 27 just before 10 p.m.  

Smith is 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes. She is affiliated with the Round Valley Indian Tribes. Her clothing is unknown but she is believed to be on foot.  

The alert went out to Humboldt, Mendocino, Sonoma, Marin and San Francisco counties.  

Anyone who sees Smith or who may know of her whereabouts is encouraged to call 911 immediately.

  1. It could be a possibility she ran off to SF again. When I was there she popped up and hung out with me a few times. I can put out my feelers and see if any friends of mine see her there! Hope she’s OK. I love her.
