MENDOCINO CO., 3/09/26 – Licensed cannabis cultivators and rural landowners are invited to attend an online webinar on permaculture design and resilient cultivation systems on Wednesday. 

The webinar will feature Dan Mar of High Tide Permaculture, an Arcata-based consulting firm, who will discuss how permaculture principles can be applied to improve soil health, water management and long-term sustainability. 

Topics will include strategies for preventing erosion and runoff, managing pests naturally and designing cultivation systems that require less long-term maintenance. 

The event is funded by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Cannabis Restoration Grant Program and presented by the Rural Resilience Project.
