MENDOCINO CO., 2/19/26 – A PG&E power outage is impacting approximately 1,405 customers in northeastern Mendocino County, including parts of Round Valley, Covelo, Dos Rios and Laytonville, according to the utility’s live outage map.

PG&E reported the outage shortly before 9 a.m. Thursday. The utility said the outage is unplanned and that crews responding to the area found a power line on the ground. Repairs are underway.

As of late Thursday morning, PG&E had not provided an estimated restoration time, noting that crews are currently responding to storm-related emergencies and will provide updates when more information becomes available.

The outage comes as a winter storm system continues to impact Northern California, bringing heavy rain, gusty winds and hazardous travel conditions.

No specific time for restoration was available as of Thursday morning.
