MENDOCINO CO., 11/18/25 – Three men were arrested in Covelo early Tuesday for allegedly burglarizing two local stores, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office said.  

According to the Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched at 12:08 a.m. Monday to investigate an alarm at Redwood Market in Covelo.

When they arrived, deputies found the store had been broken into and several items were missing. Surveillance video confirmed the burglary and showed a vehicle believed to be involved, the Sheriff’s Office said. 

Deputies later located the vehicle at a home in the 100 block of Pomo Boulevard, also known as Pomo Way. Inside the home, deputies found 20-year-old Doran Lincoln of Ukiah and two 18-year-olds, William Davis of Covelo and Orion Dennis of Ukiah. 

A search warrant was issued, and deputies found evidence related to the burglary, according to the Sheriff’s Office. 

While investigating the Redwood Market break-in, an employee reported a second burglary at Keith’s Market, also in Covelo.

Deputies arrested Lincoln, Davis and Dennis on suspicion of three felonies: second-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit a felony, and acting in concert with two or more people to take property during a felony. 

The three were booked into Mendocino County Jail and remain in custody in lieu of $15,000 bail each.
