MENDOCINO CO., 11/8/25 – Thanksgiving Day is Thursday, Nov. 27, and many local restaurants offer prix fixe, à la carte and buffet options sure to satisfy. 

Many menus include vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free choices, and most restaurants offer kids’ menus as well. 

If you’re looking to skip turkey or traditional fare altogether, you’ll find plenty of alternative options too. 

Here’s a list of restaurants open on Thanksgiving across Mendocino County. Be sure to call ahead to confirm details, as offerings or hours may change.

Albion 

Ledford House Restaurant — Enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with ocean views. The three-course menu includes soup or salad, an entrée and dessert, with optional starters such as oysters and cheeses. Reservations recommended. 3000 N. Hwy 1, Albion; (707) 937-0282; ledfordhouse.com

Terra Mar Kitchen — The a la carte holiday menu includes seasonal soups and salads ($13–$17) and entrées such as turkey ($41), maple-glazed salmon ($43), braised short ribs ($45), vegetarian wild mushroom ravioli ($41) and a vegan harvest plate ($39). Covelo

American Legion Post 759 – Enjoy a dinner of turkey or ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, yams, stuffing, mixed vegetables, cranberry sauce and a slice of pie at the American Legion’s 36th annual Thanksgiving Community Meal. Thanks to a generous donor, those age 55 and older eat for free. For everyone else, its $20 a plate, 1-4 p.m., 23900 Howard St., Covelo.

Elk

Sibo Restaurant — French-trained chef Victor Passalacqua serves Thanksgiving supper in the ocean-view dining room at the Elk Cove Inn. Served family-style, the menu features smoked salmon rillettes, roast turkey, baked ham, salmon filet with dill sauce, and crab cakes, with sides including cornbread, dried fruit stuffing, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole and glazed carrots. Fort Bragg

KW Saltwater Grill — Celebrate with a “coastal twist on Thanksgiving tradition.” Entrée options include roast turkey, surf & turf, local rock cod and halibut, with sides and pie for dessert. 5200 Lounge — The Heritage House Inn’s 5200 Lounge serves a four-course Thanksgiving meal featuring organic turkey, Kobe beef ribeye, salmon Wellington or vegan Moroccan-style tagine. Mendocino 

Flow – Mendocino’s popular oceanview restaurant, Flow, will serve a three-course meal with seasonal entrees, including organic turkey, ham and a vegetarian stuffed delicata squash. The Ravens — The Stanford Inn’s organic, plant-based restaurant offers a five-course menu with entrées like encrusted tofu, portobello mushroom, and harvest tamale. Point Arena

Redwood Valley

Angelina’s Cafe – Coyote Valley Casino’s casual dining establishment is offering a hearty holiday meal of roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, seasonal veggies and a biscuit for only $10. A slice of cheesecake or pie is available as an add-on.
