MENDOCINO Co., 8/6/24 — Mendocino County District Attorney David Eyster is asking the public’s participation in the case of convicted arsonist Devin Lamar Johnson.

Johnson will be sentenced September 16 at 9:15 a.m. in Marin County Superior Court. The sentencing will be shown on Zoom. Contact the county’s Victim and Witness Services (V/W) at 707-463-4218 for information. Eyster also wants impact letters and statements from victims. Loss statements not covered by insurance can also be submitted. The advocates at V/W will explain what documentation is needed for a possible restitution order issued by the Marin County judge.

Eyster writes: “If you are a Hopkins Fire victim and you are interested in submitting a written impact statement, we will need your written letters in hand at the Ukiah V/W office no later than noon on September 2nd, if not before.”
