MENDOCINO CO. 8/1/24 – Fire crews continue to respond to a wildfire approximately five miles northeast of Covelo called the Bluenose Fire.  

Cal Fire’s Thursday morning report states that the fire is 90% contained and has burned 3.9 acres. The cause remains under investigation. No structures are threatened or damaged.  

According to Cal Fire, the fire started around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The agency has six personnel working the fire.
