MENDOCINO CO., 8/1/24 – Cal Fire reports that the Riley Fire was 100% contained on Wednesday.
According to Cal Fire, the Riley Fire was first reported at 16790 Riley Ridge Rd. on Saturday morning at 10:47 a.m. It burned between Fort Bragg and Willits on the border of Jackson State Demonstration Forest just south of Camp Noyo.
The fire burned 12.2 acres. No structures were damaged, nor were there any injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Cal Fire has concluded its work on the Riley Fire.
