MENDOCINO Co., 11/6/19 — A small wildfire broke out just south of Ukiah, at Burke Hill, and just east of U.S. Route 101. The fire was quickly controlled and subdued, though firefighters remain to mop up. Most other engines and resources, including a Cal Fire tanker have been recalled, but the Cal Fire Copter 101 remains on the scene as of about 11:45 a.m.

The northbound #2 lane (slow lane) is closed in that area to allow for firefighters to stage.
