MENDOCINO Co., 6/9/19 — A three car accident closed State Route 20, between U.S Route 101 and the entrance to Potter Valley, near the turn off to Lake Mendocino, for a couple hours this afternoon, but as of 2:15 p.m. the California Highway Patrol is believes that they’ll be able to reopen the road presently.

The accident occurred around 12:15 p.m. about three quarter of a mile west of the entrance to Potter Valley, and involved a white truck, grey sedan, and a water tanker.

  1. Was there an accident with a UPS truck today 6-14-19? I was supposed to get a delivery but it never came. The shipper said there must have been an accident. mbchevalier@att.net thank you
