UKIAH, CA., 4/21/26 — This week’s Featured Pet is Remi Madea, available for adoption through the Ukiah Animal Shelter.
This stunning Cane Corso girl is as loyal as they come, forming deep bonds with the people she knows and trusts. Remi Madea is incredibly sweet, affectionate and devoted once you’re in her circle, but true to her breed, she can be wary of strangers and will need time and patience to feel comfortable in new situations. Remi is looking for a confident, experienced owner who understands the Cane Corso breed and can provide the structure, leadership and consistency she needs to thrive. She’ll do best in a calm, predictable home where her boundaries are respected and her trust can continue to grow. When it comes to other dogs, Remi will need slow, proper introductions to set her up for success. Because of her size and sensitivity, we recommend a home without small children or small animals. With the right person, Remi Madea will be a loyal and loving companion, your protector, your shadow, and your best friend. If you have breed experience and are ready to give this special girl the understanding home she deserves, Remi is ready to meet you. Remi is three years old and 94 pounds.
