FORT BRAGG, CA., 2/26/26 — Los Gallitos, a popular Mexican restaurant on North Franklin Street in Fort Bragg, will host a free block party this weekend to mark its 30th anniversary.

Known for its large portions, mouthwatering margaritas, and seafood dishes, Los Gallitos has been serving food on the Mendocino Coast since 1996. The restaurant will be holding a block party this Sunday at 1 p.m. at the corner of Franklin and Alder Street all the way down to Redwood Avenue.

According to the restaurant’s Facebook post, the block party will feature food, music, dancing, and face painting. Vendors will take both cash and card payments.

Some seating will be available, but attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

At Monday’s Fort Bragg City Council meeting, the council celebrated the local restaurant and Mayor Jason Godeke signed a proclamation honoring its 30th anniversary.

“The city of Fort Bragg proudly honors Los Gallitos for three decades of authentic Mexican heritage, outstanding food, and meaningful community connection-and looks forward to many more years of success,” reads the proclamation.
