UKIAH, CA., 1/14/26 — The Grace Hudson Museum will host two events Saturday, Jan. 17, connected to its current exhibit, “Mission Gráfica: Reflecting a Community in Print.”

Printmaker and muralist Jos Sances will lead a screen-printing workshop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants will learn the basics of screen printing and create their own designs on paper or textiles to take home. Sances is a co-founder of Mission Gráfica. The workshop costs $20 per person, with scholarship spots available, and is open to ages 16 and older. Reservations are required by calling (707) 467-2836..

At 2:30 p.m., Juan Fuentes will present a relief carving and printing demonstration. Fuentes will demonstrate wood and linoleum relief carving and printing techniques used by artists featured in the exhibit. A longtime Chicano printmaker, teacher and activist, Fuentes is a former director of Mission Gráfica whose work focuses on portraying his community in positive and dignified ways.
